It’s in Benin, and more specifically at ESMER (High school of renewable energy professions) than the 2nd scientific and educational council of ESMER took place on August, 26th. This council allowed to evaluate the first year of education at ESMER.

On this occasion, Yao AZOUMAH, administrative director of ESMER council, and director of Sirea-Afrique, and Bruno BOUTEILLE, also member of this council, and CEO of Sirea have represented Sirea Group throughout this event.

Sirea Spain will be at the International Machine-Tool Exhibition of Bilbao (BIEMH) from 30th May, to 4th of June of 2016, together with iAR. In their stand, you will discover a part dedicated to iAR, Industrial Augmented Reality, and another part dedicated to Sirea products !

BIEMH is a date which cannot be missed, it’s the best opportunity to know more about innovations on manufacturing processes. With more than 1300 exhibitors, coming from 30 different countries, this exhibition is one of the most important of Europe. For the 29th edition, BIEMH will show technological advances related to Industry 4.0 (integration of connected objects, and Internet in industrial sector).

Sirea-Afrique will be present at the international exhibition about renewable energy of Ouagadougou, from 28 of april to 1st May.

This exhibition meets professionals in energy sector, it permits to accelerate exchanges between different actors of the renewable energy market in Burkina Faso and its region.

At this occasion, Yao Azoumah, the director of Sirea-Afrique, has been interviewed by LeFaso.net, and he is very optimistic to the future of renewable energy in Africa.

Saturday, 27 February, Yao Azoumah, the director of Sirea-Afrique encourages excellency in the primary school of Kamboinsé in Burkina Faso.

Sirea-Afrique offers solar kits to the best pupils of all classes, to encourage them in the studies, but especially to incite them to succeed.

This ceremony, sponsored by the ministry of the energy, mines and quarries has permit to raise awareness at pupils and their parents the importance of the renewable energies.

This week-end, the « Ronde Givrée 2016 » occurred. It is the winter’s appointment for runners and sportsmen of the region.

Sirea was present, by participating for the third consecutive year, but this time, with two teams for the 34th edition !

Sirea 1 team :

Sirea 2 team :

Having already accumulated 2 wins on the previous edition in Mixte 1 (3 men / 1 female), the Sirea 1 team comes for the the third consecutive year to the top of the rank Mixte 1 and is on the second step of the podium in the Corporate rank.

Sirea 1 team finishes in the 18th place and Sirea 2 team finishes in the 272th place to the overall rank, on 415 teams !

After Burkina Faso, Sirea Group continue to invest on the African continent, especially in Benin where the company was present for the opening of ESMER (High school of renewable energy professions).

The 2015 edition of the Jalabert cyclotourist ride took place successfully on August 23. A total of 307 cyclists crossed the finishing line in the Laurent circuit, of 115km, and 302 more cyclists arrived in the Nicolas circuit, of 75km. Sirea was represented in both circuits, and got a female podium in the Laurent!

A beautiful race where, despite the bad weather forecast, it permitted, and took as winners Sebastien Pillon (Laurent) and Alexandre Finos (Nicolas) in the male category, and Kiara Bisaro (Laurent) and Cassie Baldi (Nicolas) in the female category. Our colleague Ana, from Sirea Spain, got the third position in the Laurent circuit.

Congratulations to the organization and to the winners!

During the week of April 13 to 17, Sirea was pleased to welcome in Castres Daniel Yamegeu Ph.D, Patrice Dangang and Henri Kottin, in charge of the Laboratory of Solar Energy and Energy Economics (LESEE), for the validation of equipment for the Flexy Energy project.

The Flexy Energy project, funded by the European Union, aims at implementing different hybrid systems configurations (coupling of photovoltaic (PV)  / diesel generators) for the realization of micro-grids connected to the electric network.

A total of 2 to installations, a first one in Burkina Faso and a second one in Mali, each including 60 kWp PV and three generators with a total of 88 kVA, are controlled through the control equipment provided by Sirea for this ambitious project.
